Nissan AMIEO DEI Annual Report FY2023

Our DEI strategic pillars

Empowering our leaders

We want all our employees to be part of putting our DEI principles into practice every day. However, we also understand that the leaders within our business have a responsibility to set the direction and provide guidance to their teams. We are therefore investing significantly in equipping our local and regional executives with the knowledge, confidence and tools they need to create a fair, welcoming and respectful environment for our people, partners and customers.

In FY2023, this included participating in a workshop led by Roy Gluckman, a leading expert in diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging. In a first for the region, our Executive team and Senior Vice Presidents team spent the session understanding their DEI requirements and commitments, reinforcing their support for improving diversity, equity and inclusion across the region.

" Having worked on three continents over my career, one thing that really stands out at Nissan is the diversity of backgrounds and thoughts across the AMIEO region. Attending the workshop with Roy Gluckman was a great opportunity to recognise and celebrate diversity, understanding our roles to foster an inclusive and equitable workplace, as well as committing to supporting our DEI efforts in the future.
