Nissan AMIEO DEI Annual Report FY2023

Our DEI strategic pillars

Regional vision, local action

Ensuring everyone has the opportunity to thrive in a region as large and diverse as AMIEO requires sound leadership supported by the right framework of systems and processes. This means ensuring our commitment to DEI reaches local communities in every market where our employees live and work. Chaired by Friederike Kienitz, Senior Vice President, Sustainability, Corporate Affairs and Governance, the AMIEO DEI Council provides a regional vision and strategy that is supported by DEI Local Committees and championed by Managing Directors in each market.

Having established our AMIEO DEI Council in FY2022, we have restructured it to be even more representative and inclusive of our people’s voices across all levels, functions and locations of the business. The Council will now have 15 appointed members, each assessed by a panel of DEI Council and HR team members, who bring with them a hugely diverse array of experiences, expertise and ideas.
