Our DEI strategic pillars

Equity workshops

Alongside our existing DEI training programmes, in FY2023 we ran a series of workshops to help leaders from across the AMIEO region better understand equity and how it can be integrated into all aspects of our professional and personal lives.

Leading Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging Consultant Roy Gluckman conducted a series of three workshops on ‘Embracing Equity’ across the year, followed by three workshops by business psychologist Matt Smeed on ‘Belonging in the workplace’. All attendees gained valuable insights into how to inspire a workplace culture that values diversity and champions equity, as well as strategies for building emotional resilience and alliances to support diverse communities across their teams.

Building on this further, we also ran internal workshops for wider teams to understand the importance of equity, and developed a toolkit for all colleagues across AMIEO to understand the impact that biases can have on our business.
