The road ahead

In the last two years, Nissan AMIEO has made positive and important steps towards placing DEI at the very centre of our operating practices and decision-making. Through a combination of regional vision and local action, we are making our company an ever more welcoming, respectful and inclusive environment to work in and do business with.

As this report has shown, our commitment to DEI is being brought to life in a range of ways:

  • Recognising and responding to the diverse cultures, backgrounds and needs of our people, partners and customers
  • Putting in place tangible and transparent measurement and reporting processes
  • Establishing new governance structures at a regional and local level
  • Celebrating the DEI achievements of individuals and teams through internal and external awards
  • Shifting the way we recruit, retain and grow our talent

Guided by our DEI Manifesto, we will continue to embed, expand and add to these initiatives in FY2024 and beyond. Over the next year, we’ll be looking to:

  • Continue to improve the DEI Council reflecting broader diversity representation
  • Improve DEI representation across AMIEO functions
  • Equip our management team with training
  • Develop and improve our inclusive practises
  • Continue to integrate our DEI practice into our everyday business, and build on the current momentum

The road to creating a cleaner, safer, more inclusive workplace and society is ahead. We can all feel excited and inspired about making the journey together!
